PIXIES Tour

Postby divegator » Thu Nov 10, 2011 8:51 pm

Anyone catch the Pixies on their latest reunion tours? I'm seeing them for the first time this Saturday. Needless to say I'm going to be like a kid on Christmas morning :D

Oh, also the Raconteurs and Gogol Bordello for anyone who's fans of those bands. :D :D

Well, they're actually coming to my home city... But, as fate would have it, I managed to break my neck about a month and a half ago, so I won't be capable of attending any concerts any time soon.

I'm pretty excited, I'll be going to see them tomorrow night. So awesome that they're actually playing at a venue that's only 15-20 minutes from where I live.

What'd you think?

I had a blast. What an amazing American band.

Sorry, I just saw this post. But yeah, the show was great. It had actually been a while since I'd listened to Doolittle, so hearing those songs for the first time in a long time probably made it a bit more exciting. I enjoyed the openers, Surfer Blood, too.

Also, oddly enough, one of my English professors told me he saw me at the show. Cool guy.

Yeah, luckily I'm an English major. Don't think I've had a single bad English prof., actually.

Surfer Blood's pretty cool. I saw them in 2010, and it was a pretty fun show. They have a new record coming out soon, if I remember right.
