Tremendous Tyrannosaurus Tremendous

Postby Dying Lobster » Sun Jun 19, 2011 2:23 am

Hey folks...I make music with my brother under the name Tremendous Tyrannosaurus Tremendous.

We're not the greatest, and we lack the equipment and knowledge to really do some topnotch recordings. We'll get there. We just made a bandcamp today, sort of to just kinda see what happens. All we've got right now are songs that aren't quite finished, but more in the demo stage.

I play guitar and sing (both poorly, for the most part).

Well there it is. Let me know what you think. I know it's really not that good and it's not final, but we're havin' a good time.

Thank you.

Thanks! I'm always real self-conscious about this stuff. Especially when I get impatient and put out unfinished stuff.

Yeah, I kind of record everything, mostly fragmented ideas, for myself, and then end up showing them to people for advice and wishing I hadn't, so I know how it feels, haha. But this is solid. It's real weird, it definitely has kind of an indie sound, but it sounds original too. Keep recording!

Agreed. I liked it. And I was unfamiliar with Bandcamp. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! thank you guys. Wasn't really expecting positive feedback.

I actually found bandcamp through another member of I-8 posting their own music, it's quite handy.
Well hopefully we can get some more music out there and see how that goes. Again, thank you for the kind words.

Hello friends. It's been a while, we've been busy and caught up in things. But in the meantime we managed to create this:

http://tremendoustyrannosaurustremendou ... es-on-fire

The audio is pretty shoddy, by no means terrible, but obviously not too good. The song's pretty special to me, not that I think it's particularly good, but it's one of the first things that I came up with musically (though at the time, I couldn't even actually play it entirely), and even in it's current form it bears some resemblance to its earliest iteration and holds to true to the characteristics that I actually liked about it. Anyways, I'm rambling.

Thank you if you listen, if not, well I don't mind, and don't blame you!

We have a couple new tracks, though one is pretty old. They're not that good.
