Mogwai Burning / Special Moves

I saw a screening of Burning last night, and this is one amazing concert film. It's been put together by Vincent Moon, who, while I like his stuff, was a bit disappointed with the films he did for Arcade Fire and the National. But here he's managed to capture a Mogwai gig perfectly. Compared to the live album that's come with it, it's pretty short. Only 45 mins, 8 songs, of which a few are cut short, but all in all it works and you've got Special Moves to fall back on if you want the complete versions.

If you're able to catch a screening in your city, I would highly recommend getting to see this thing on a big screen.
