Just outside of London, England. Represent! Or something. Hoping to move to somewhere much better than this shitheap (it has to be said) after a year of university or something. Berkeley looks right up my street but I probably don't have the grades but hey, a teenage liberal socialist can dream.

Hey everyone!
This is my first post here, and as i can't seem to find an introductions topic this seems like a good place to, well, introduce.

Without giving too much away (you could all be nutters for all i know) i live in a smallish town in the South East of England :D

Over the past couple of years i have been collecting the Modest Mouse back catalogue, and i'm sure any other Brits on here will back me up when i say there are very few people over here who know who MM are. Anyway, from this collecting i can safely say that MM are my all time second
favourite band.

So anyway, to answer the topic, England.

Indeed, I went in to Virgin shortly after the release of the new album and I found NOTHING. None of their older albums, nothing of the new. Actually it might've been just before the new one was released, I don't remember really. None of my friends had even come close to having heard of them before I introduced them. And to think people consider them one of the biggest alternative acts around right now over in the States just seems a bit unfathomable to me. :?
