A LOT of Built To Spill, and recently really loving Son Volt, especially that track "Drown." Alt-Country seems to have a lot of gems

Been on a Beatles kick for the past few weeks. I've recently listened to Abbey Road, Magical Mystery Tour, Anthology 1, and a greatest hits collection of John Lennon's solo stuff. Never get tired of the Beatles.

Oasis..... yeah.....

Listen to Revolver. The Beatles never made a better record. And Let It Be. So great.

They are amazing records but I love playing oasis on guitar, so much fun. If you play guitar then you will know, I think I read somewhere you did

I do play guitar, I'm just not big into Oasis. Their music never clicked with me and on top of that their off stage personalities are just god awful. I'm not knocking them as musicians though, just not into them.

I also LOVE The Beatles and for the next step after them to be Oasis, well, that just isn't correct to me. I don't know if you were being sarcastic or not either. But in my opinion a few good bands to follow up the fab four with would be: Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Doors, The Kinks, The Hollies, Crosby Stills & Nash(Young is optional), The Mamas & The Papas, The Who, The Eagles, Traveling Wilburys, ELO, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Talking Heads....

What I've been listening to lately....

^5 for these three in particular. I really like that Ron Paul dude. Definitely a straight shooter. If I were a registered Republican, I would have voted for him in the primary.
