I love the color of Birds Vs. Worms, it's probably my favorite one for MM vinyl.

Also, I learned yesterday day there's a remix of "Ice on the Sheets" by Joe Beats, which prompted me to buy the album it's on, it should be here soon. Here's the discogs page if you're interested:
http://www.discogs.com/release/857090

In other news, I'm going to be setting up private torrents for anyone who's interested in downloading the following:
Various Artists - Acquired Taste (Sub Pop, both NTSC and PAL versions)
Modest Mouse - RCKNDY (1998-09-23)
Modest Mouse - Live at the Variety Playhouse (2001-09-26)

All will be in ISO format, meaning you can either burn them to DVDs, or mount them virtually and watch the contents on your computer. Just send me a PM and I'll send you a private torrent. :)

Cool.

It would be easy to make counterfeits of those tapes though. That always worries me.

Magic Eye Singles #7, named "Magazines Sell Sex". It features "Mice Eat Cheese", four years before Sad Sappy Sucker came out.

(And yes, that's a TMaA mousepad!)

I also post a ton of rare MM stuff on my blog, check it out here:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe this is legit.

The hand numbered ones have the bulls eye in the center, while the non numbered ones have it off centered.

Funny, I just saw this and messaged the guy. I've bought a few MM records from him in the past, he's a cool dude.

He says he bought it straight from a MM merch table back in the day. I mean it's still a weird piece, but overall worth less than a true numbered version.

including sharpen your teeth woo! i actually sped up that reissue! :D

Lol - how'd this work out now almost 4 years later? Market for original release of LCW is around $400 and Long Drive is bumping up to $300. Reissue's of Good News, Fruit, and We Were Dead are out in 180 gram vinyls which is awesome news for people who dig that kind of news! However, I haven't heard any news of their best sh!t being repressed anytime soon.
Just dropped $220 for the 2 LP Long Drive. IMO, this is MM in their isolationist, lonely best. Well worth the hefty price since this original vinyl has 2 bonus tracks not on the cd, one of which is not released anywhere else - 'A Manic Depressive Named Laughing Boy'. 'Edit the Sad Parts' was released on a 7 inch B side, I think?
Side note - Edit the Sad Parts definitely has the roots of 'Cowboy Dan' sound to it. Long Drive preceded LCW by a year ('96/'97).
