First Mouse show of 2014!

Postby jplan74 » Wed Jan 15, 2014 4:13 pm

well in typical Mouse fashion, no news, but here they are on a festival bill already:

i can't swing Alabama i dont think but at least they're moving easterly. in addition, this festival is in May which means album/tour announcement sometime before or after?

wasn't sure if this belonged in News or Touring so feel free to move!

They just posted a FB status. Also, there website has had a design overhaul. Maybe that's a good sign.

ha i was just coming here to post about this! Built to Spill, Death Cab and MODEST MOUSE on the same bill, and only 4 hours away. i am so THERE!!!

also means that in May, Mouse is in GA and MA, that has to mean East Coast dates in the middle.

I'm sure Europe is on their agenda after the debacle of cancelling the tour.

Whoa I didn't know they were for sale already. How much did you spend long drive ? And what day is mm performing? I only want to see them (built to spill would be nice too)

according to the website, MM and BtS both play Sunday. I have never seen DCFC so I may go Saturday too. i have no interest in Friday, Jack Johnson seems a little out of place as the headliner.

well hell yeah. mm and bts are the only bands i care about seeing. i hope MM's setlist isnt severely reduced and they put on a great show.
ill be there as long as the price isnt ridiculous!

yeah the Sat-Sun pass is $135. i'm going back and forth. other than DFDC, i'm with you. I really only want to see Mouse and BtS, so to stay at a hotel all weekend, bus ticket, food and beers, its kind of a lot. i'm thinking the Sun 1 day pass is the way to go.

edit: DCFC (DFDC are the chords to a song i wrote ha)

then again to see Sunday's shows, i'd still have to probably travel Saturday and get a hotel Sat night. So if the one day pass is not much cheaper, then its probably worth it to buy the weekend, and arrive by Sat nite for Death Cab

they haven't released single day weekend passes yet. i am covered though, my brother and his gf will go. they like MM and BtS but not DCFC, so Saturday night they can do their own thing and Sunday we all rage together. sounds like a plan to me.
