Just a little tune I wrote...

I wrote this last summer and finally got around to recording it with my 12 string guitar. I'd love any feedback, critical or not. It's not really Modest Mouse inspired. It's more inspired by a film called Ravenous which is really awesome and you should all watch it. Also, here are the lyrics:

"Down in the cave
Beside the river
Some travellers and I
Were starving to death
So we ate
Each other
We ate until our souls were fed
And a ravenous desire was bred

Fathers and sons
once and for all will be one
Cooked over the campfire tonight
Much to the mothers delight
How she loved her boy so close
Now he's in her stomach again
The good things they never last
But the hunger, it always does"

The last line is really no good...I'm not much of a lyricist, singer, or guitarist, so please bear with me! I hope you enjoy despite all my musical shortcomings.

Good song. I like your lyrics. Did you write them?
It sounds like you just started singing. I have never been a good singer myself, but have been trying more lately. It would be nice if more people started posting music here now that it's summertime.

Thanks for posting a song.

Thanks man, I did write the lyrics, and yeah, I'm not much of a singer. Here's another song I just wrote

I kind of fuck up the second guitar part a couple of times...I'm not too used to doing multi-track recordings. Let me know what you think!
