My last purchases were as follows...

The Whole Love by Wilco
Invisible Stars by Everclear
The '59 Sound By Gaslight Anthem
Handwritten by Gaslight Anthem

Wilco and Gaslight Anthem are both on fire on these records, but Everclear kinda disappoints. I was really hoping for a great album from Everclear but I must say the current standouts among all of this are the songs 45 by Gaslight and the album opener and closer for Wilco.

Recently bought Moms by Menomena, Lightning by Matt & Kim, and Hello Nasty by the Beastie Boys. All good stuff.

HRVRD (formerly Harvard) is great. They just came out with the album "From the Bird's Cage" and I highly recommend it.

The Republic of Wolves.. though I think they're on a hiatus. But His Old Branches, House of Dust, Varuna, and the Cartographer are all A++++++.

Single Mothers, from New London, Ontario, keeping it raw, punky, and fresh with songs like Winter Coats and Nice Dresses are both pretty solid.

Night Moves, hailing from Minnesota, extremely solid, a bit retro, and strong production on their latest album (I'd even suggest listening to the previous one). Cosmic Titties and Country Queen are my favorites.

Other bands that have been getting plays a lot: White Denim, And So I Watch You from Afar, Balance and Composure, Colour Revolt, and O'Brother...

I bought Royal Blood and St. Vincent from Amazon a couple weeks ago. Both are great! I saw St. Vincent with The Black Keys in December.

White Lighter by Typhoon is a really underrated album.

I just picked up some classic indie stuff that I really should have owned like five years ago - Six Demon Bag, Sky Blue Sky, Chutes Too Narrow, and I'm Wide Awake It's Morning. Pretty essential stuff.
